 Domanski Frames was established in 1978 as a Framers and Guilders Company. We have worked on many assignments, big and small, which have included a wide range of gilding work. We have gilded both picture and mirror frames. In addition, we have framed works of art by contemporary artists and old masters. We have also restored old frames.
Over the years that we have been in business, we have framed a lot of oil paintings, graphic work, drawings, prints and mirrors. We have also worked on unusual assignments and we have advised our clients on various matters with regard to framing and hanging pictures (for instance, we have often discussed certain problems of interior design).
We have produced many stylish, and often unique, frames covered with gold and silver leaf. We have painted frames using old methods. When working on copies of old frames, we have used old technologies and period designs. We have also used our own designs, which are based on historical styles.
 We have restored thousands of antique frames and pieces of furniture with gilded parts. We have restored antiques, such as altar pieces, pulpits and organ prospects. We have always followed the proper methods and the ethical rules which apply to restorers work.
We use many techniques, including glass, wood, metal, gypsum and stone gilding. We have also applied gold to glass windows, tombstones, metal plates, iron ornaments, parts of buildings (facades, gypsum elements) and pieces of sculpture.
We have worked on assignments for restaurants, coffee shops, banks, barber s shops and other institutions. We have worked together with specialists, such as interior designers and architects.
